Youth Summer Camp
Join us this summer at the Bristol State House at 240 High Street in Bristol to further develop your musical skills at the Community String Project Summer String Camp! CSP Youth Summer Camp will meet Monday through Thursday from 9 -12, July 12-22.
Students will participate in daily group rehearsals, including level appropriate ensemble
repertoire, unison playing and rounds. In addition to their Ensembles, each day students
will participate in Break-Out Sessions that will include workshops and classes on fiddling,
improvisation, musical games, theory, composition, and faculty and student performances.
CSP Summer Camp is open to all students entering grades 4-8 who have at least one year
of experience with playing a string instrument.
Full Pay Students - Cost is $150 per student with an additional $20 instrument use fee if needed.
Students with verified eligibility for Free and Reduced Lunch - Cost is $25 per student and will include the instrument use fee if needed.
Adult Summer Classes
Adult Orchestral String and Classical Guitar Players: Come join us this summer and develop your musical skills in our 8 week summer lesson program! Classes are available to adults and students entering grades 9-12 who have had at least one semester of experience on their instrument.
Advanced Level - Mary Casale, instructor - Mondays from 6:30-8:10
Chamber Ensemble - Nathan Rodriquez, instructor - Thursdays from 4:00-5:40
Intermediate Ensemble (by audition) - Nathan Rodriquez, instructor - Thursdays from 6:00-7:40
Beginning students will be accepted in the fall.
Location: All classes will meet at the Bristol State House at 240 High Street in Bristol.
Dates: Classes meet once per week in the evening from the week of June 14 - the week of August 9.
