Youth Summer Camp 2019

Monday -Thursday from 9:00 -12:00, July 8-11 and July 15-18


Join us this summer at the First Congregational Church at 300 High Street in Bristol to further develop your musical skills!


Ensemble Rehearsal

Students will participate in daily group rehearsals, including level appropriate ensemble repertoire, unison playing and rounds.


Break-Out Sessions

In addition to their Ensembles, each day students will participate in Break-Out Sessions that will include workshops and classes on fiddling, improvisation, musical games, theory, composition, and faculty and student performances.

All students will be get a snack while at camp.


Who Can Participate

CSP Summer Camp is open to all students entering grades 4-8 that have at least one year of orchestral string experience.



$150 per student with $20 instrument use fee if needed.

Students who qualify for free and reduced lunch pay $20, which includes instrument use fee.

  • If you choose to mail in your registration you may go here to download a registration form to mail in with your check. 


Instrument use

Students who have registered and paid for CSP Summer Program by the June 6 deadline may keep their instruments until the end of the summer program, at which time they will be collected for refurbishment and reissue in the fall. Instruments must be returned after the concert if the student has not registered for the summer program.

Deadline for registration is June 6, at the Spring Concert.
