Here is a current list of our fantastic instructors:

  • Brianna DeWitt
    A native of Fairfield, CT, Brianna began playing viola at the age of nine. She has played in a variety of symphonic and chamber ensembles, and is currently principal violist for the Newport County Orchestra of Newport, RI. She was an intern in 2008 for the Fairfield Ludlowe High School music department, specifically with the orchestra program. Brianna has studied with Mrs. Denise Chividian of the Greenwich, Bridgeport, and New Haven Symphony Orchestras, and currently studies with Dr. Joseph Ceo of Salve Regina University. In addition to being an avid string player, Brianna studies piano, percussion, and conducting. She has served as guest conductor for the Newport County Orchestra and Newport Community Band. Brianna has instructed beginner and intermediate adult classes, and the CSP adult string ensemble since February of 2010, and continues to teach in the adult program. She will receive a B.A.S. in music education from Salve Regina University in 2012. In her free time Brianna enjoys cooking, boating, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family.

  • Laura Cetilia
    Born and raised on the east side of Los Angeles, Laura Cetilia leads the life of an orchestral and chamber musician, concert presenter, electronic musician, and educator. Upon graduating with distinction from the School of Music at Indiana University, Laura accepted a position with the Graduate String Quartet at Wichita State University, where she received her master's degree in cello performance. She has since traveled extensively, performing and attending artist residencies around the world. In 2008 Laura completed a two-year Urban Musical Fellowship with Community MusicWorks, an organization based in Providence, RI that provides free after-school music education and performance programs for youth and their families. In 2009-2010 she worked closely with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the free after-school music program Harmony Project teaching cello to inner-city youth.
